The Send Email module allows you to add an automated email into a Sequence that you can pre-fill with any data you'd like. This includes Form responses, employee details, and the ability to attach files. π¬
An example use case for the Send Email module is the ability to send managers the responses from employee check-ins! Let's take a quick look at this now. π
Note: within the Send Email Module, you have the ability to attach files. Once sent, these files are downloadable via a link that stays active for 30 days. If you need to access these files later on during the Journey, you can resend the Sequence to regenerate the links provided the Journey is still In Progress. This is a security measure and the 30-day expiry can't be changed.
First, start by clicking Add Module within the desired Sequence or drag and drop the Send Data module from your library into the Sequence you'd like to trigger this action for.
Once youβve put that Send Email module in place, the Module Builder will pop up on your screen for you to begin customizing to how you see fit! π
Within the subject box & the message box, you have the option to use Dynamic Tokens to pull data and populate the email with ease, like this:
Notice how we typed out the question above the first week's answer so that the manager knows what the question is, instead of only seeing an answer.
Once youβve built out your new Module to your liking, remember to save it! β
