This article explains how managers can easily add, edit, and delete tasks within activities using Enboarderโ€™s AI-powered Task Editor. The goal is to help you keep ramping plans accurate, relevant, and easy to maintain without tedious manual updates.



What is the AI Task Editor?

The AI Task Editor lets managers update tasks inside a ramping activity using a simple, guided chat experience. Instead of filling out complex forms, you describe what you want to change and the AI helps generate professional, structured task content for you.

You stay in control the entire time: you can review, edit, accept, or discard anything before itโ€™s saved.


Accessing the AI Task Editor

  1. Open a ramping activity.

  2. Click Edit Activities on the activity detail page.

  3. A split view opens:

    • Left: AI chat panel

    • Right: Live preview of the activity and its tasks

Your chat history is saved during the session so you can move back and forth without losing context.

When the AI Task Editor opens, youโ€™ll see the following options:

  • โž• Add a Task

  • โœ๏ธ Edit a Task

  • ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ Remove a Task

  • ๐Ÿ”„ Reorder Tasks

Choose the action that fits what you need to do.


Add a Task

When you choose Add a Task, the AI guides you step by step:

The system will ask you what you want the task to be about. You can either explain it in your own words or choose from the options provided.

Depending on the option you go for, the AI will likely ask you a few questions to get the full picture of what you want from the task.

When you've reached the end the AI will give you a summary and give options on what you want to next.

When you're done click Apply and the system will add the task in the live preview on the right.

If you're happy with the outcome, click save changes and the task will be added.


Edit a Task

When you want to edit a task the AI will give you a list of tasks to choose from:

Choose the task you want to update and you're then given the choice to explain in more detail what you would like to change or use options provided by the AI:

When you've made your choice, the AI will make its proposed change and it's your choice how you want to proceed

If you're happy with the changes, click Apply Now

It will give you a preview of the changes to review before saving.


Remove a Task

If there a task you want to delete, you can do this with the AI editor. Just select which task you no longer want:

Confirm the task you want delete.

The task will be removed from the preview and you can then save the change.


Reorder Tasks

You can rearrange the order of a task in the AI editor. You can type in instructions on which task you want to move or use a shortcut:

If you give AI instructions on what you want to change, it should go ahead and show what the new order of tasks will be.

If you have gone with the shortcut route, click one of the tasks and the AI will act accordingly

When you have selected a task, the AI will highlight the change and ask if you would like to proceed and make those changes.

Apply the new order and the tasks should now be rearranged in the preview
