Are you looking for an easier way to assist stakeholders with the onboarding of multiple new starters that start on the same day? (Think cohorts, call centers, and more!)
Enboarder has the ability to group all new hires (that have the same start date and same manager) into one, efficient notification for stakeholders - Bulk Process! (Super creative name, we know. 😎 )
Here is an example of what stakeholders will see when they first open a bulk sequence to help guide them through the journey!
How to turn Bulk Mode on:
The first step is to activate the Bulk Upload process from a workflow level. (You must activate this before launching as it will only apply to those workflows launched after you switch it on. Side note, it's active by default.)
Step 1: On the Workflow tab, hover your mouse over the workflow on/off and, click the three dots, and then click Edit.
Step 2: Click Settings and then check the box for 'Turn on Bulk Process for this workflow'
Finally, click Save Workflow and your stakeholders can relax knowing Enboarder is grouping their notifications!
Note: Bulk employees will not be recognized in test or preview mode.
An example of a Bulk Form:
But what does it look like?!
Here's an example of a notification for a manager who has three employees starting on the same day:
Once they tap the link, it will open in a browser. They'll see a 'How to' box appear. Once they've read it, they'll click 'Start' to begin.
At the top of the screen, managers will see the list of their new hires. You can tick and untick boxes depending on which employees need which information. For modules that don't require manager input, they can simply read the content and click 'Next'.
Below is an example of a communication module that would require manager input. Here, managers can view contact details for each of their new hires.
...or have the option to select specific new hires and edit a message accordingly.
As another example, not all new hires need the same technology when they start. Bulk hiring makes it simple to action multiple requests at one time. Let's say, Farrah, Jaclyn, and Kate need different technology than the other new hires. You would untick the boxes next to the new hires' names who do not need the same technology as the checked group. In this example, Farrah, Jaclyn, and Kate need a large monitor, mouse, and keyboard. Once you've completed this request, click 'Submit'.
Enboarder will move the completed employees to the 'Done' column on the right. From there, you'll be able to move through the remaining new hires.
