The most common classification system in use today, at least in English language websites, was proposed and developed by The UK International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Their system relies on four classifications:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies

  • Performance Cookies

  • Functionality Cookies

  • Targeting or Advertising Cookies

All cookies used in our User Experience are Strictly Necessary Cookies and our product requires them to perform a useful service.

Cookies are not linked to tracking workflow activity assigned to stakeholders in Enboarder. The completion of Modules and Activities tracked in Heatmaps and our Reports is entirely de-coupled to the cookies of a user.

Any user or individual who is forwarded or assigned an activity link with a basic security setting will be able to complete this activity. If you have added sequence authentication and utilize the tracking of cookies, here they will of course need to use the Password or SSO security setting. It is in these authentication instances where essential cookies are used.

Cookies when accessing our website

There's an important distinction between our cookies used within the Enboarder application when you are a customer, compared to accessing our publicly-facing website (www.enboarder.com). As mentioned above, as a customer, the above Strictly Necessary Cookies are used. For our publicly-facing website, please refer to our cookie policy here. This will not apply to your admins or end users who are accessing Enboarder when you are a customer.
