Once you've created a workflow, you can apply a simple lock that only specific admins can access and edit. This can come in handy to lock workflows with sensitive content - e.g. for new executive hires and/or to minimize the number of admins who have access to protect all of your organizations’ hard work.

First thing’s first, this Locked Workflow feature needs to be enabled on your account by our rockstar team. If you can't see the option, let us know by starting a chat in the top right of any Enboarder page!

Once this feature has been enabled, locking workflows is super easy!

How to lock a workflow:

Step 1: Head to the Workflow tab and hover over the workflow you would like to lock, click the three dots, and then click Edit.

Step 2: The Workflow settings window will now appear, click on settings.

Step 3: Once you're on the Settings page, click on 'Workflow can be accessed by', then click 'Only specific users'.

Step 4: Add in the specific admin/s you would like to share this workflow with and click ‘Save’ once you’re done.

For specific admins who have access, they will now see that the workflow is unlocked when they enter the Workflow Manager section.

For any admins who do not have access to a locked workflow, the lock will appear to be locked in the Workflow tab (as below).

Now you know how to lock workflows, you have greater control over your experiences!
