The AI Workflow Builder is Enboarder’s latest innovation, designed to empower admin users to quickly and easily create personalized, best-practice onboarding workflows using generative AI. The product simplifies the creation process by building end-to-end workflows while keeping users in control.
To get the most out of the AI Journey Builder, you can upload any relevant files and documents (such as policies, values, JDs, etc). Upon doing so, you can utilise these documents to better contextualize your workflows.
💡 What is the AI Workflow Builder?
The AI workflow Builder is an intelligent, AI-powered tool that helps you create personalized journey drafts in minutes. You now have two powerful ways to start:
Start with a prompt: Select a journey type and provide instructions to the AI assistant.
Start with a document: Upload an existing document (like an employee handbook or onboarding plan) and let the AI automatically build a structured workflow draft for you
This tool is designed to streamline journey creation and reduce the time and effort required to build a relevant and applicable workflow.
Can I create a journey from an existing document, like an employee handbook?
Yes, you can! This is a powerful new feature that allows admins to use an existing workflow or an uploaded document to form the basis of a new workflow. Instead of starting from scratch, you can upload a document to have the AI automatically create a structured draft of the workflow for you. This helps to streamline journey creation and minimise the time it takes to build a new workflow.
What kind of documents can I upload?
The AI Journey Builder supports several common document formats. You can upload files in the following types:
• Pages
• Keynote
• Word
Please note that there is a maximum file size of 5MB
👥 Who is it for?
The feature is designed for admin users of the Enboarder platform, typically HR, People Ops, or HR Systems team members, who are responsible for creating and managing employee experience workflows.
Please note that this functionality is currently only available to accounts that have English as the default language.

🚫 What can it NOT do (yet)?
It cannot generate workflows for ramping or internal transitions (these use cases are on the roadmap).
It cannot edit or modify workflows that the AI Workflow Builder did not create. Existing workflows still need to be updated manually.

🛠 Can users modify workflows after AI generates them?
Yes! Admins can use the AI for any ‘under construction workflow. This includes:
Edit messages
Add/remove steps
Adjust logic and timelines
Personalize content to suit business needs
Add modules
Add logic
Note: Once a workflow is ‘finished’ via AI, it becomes a normal workflow in your account that can only be edited manually
🔐 Is there any risk of overwriting existing workflows?
No. The AI Workflow Builder operates independently from existing workflows and will not overwrite or modify them.
